A Big Leap

I have always been one to play it safe. Maybe too safe, I’ve come to realize. After some thrilling smaller ventures away from my familiar life, I’m ready to take a big leap. Follow along on my volunteer journey to India.

Yes, I look pretty silly.  Do you like the Aladdin pants?

For Amy L. who requested pictures of my friends: Annica, me (obviously), Sam

Behind Sam who’s paying you can see the many heart-shaped balloons.  So cute!  This is at a really nice, cushy coffee shop nearby.

This is a shot of the market area near our house.  Picture a more rustic Union Square – a bunch of stores surrounding a park.

I feel right at home!

For Alyssa.  Just one of the many super-Indian bags of chips!

I can’t take pictures of the kids as of now, we need to ask special permission.  I think they’ll let me but I’ll wait until I know the nuns better.

That’s all for now, Happy V-Day!!

I LOVE IT! Happy Valentine’s Day! I tried to use AltaVista Babelfish to translate this into Hindi but no such luck. So thrilled to see you looking happy. Stay healthy, Princess Jasmine! xoxo
